Testing for Nitrogen

Nitrogen is a nutrient required for plant and algal growth. Too much of it in water causes considerable problems, as does Phosphorus. My test kit is one supplied by WaterWatch, consisting of colour strips. (Aquacheck Water Quality Test Strips, pack of 25)
These test for nitrogen in the form of both Nitrates and Nitrites.
